When I met Carolin and Antje in Hamburg, Carolin asked me whether I wanted to do a nice little design for her blog. Without an inkling what to make I replied “I’ll think about it”. Then I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I’ve found myself sitting on the sofa for the next few days, racking my brains: Lanade … Lanade … what do I associate with Lanade? The Baltic Sea, beaches, driftwood, seashells … seashells! That’s it, I’m gonna design a seashell shawl! Eight calculations and two pattern prototypes later she started knitting ‘Seashell’. And now you can, too.
