The Schwarzwald (Black Forest) is a region in the southwest of Germany known for its dense coniferous forests and peaceful, nature-loving atmosphere.
This triangular shawl was inspired by this landscape. It is knitted from the bottom up and can be adjusted in size depending on the amount of yarn used. The pattern is varied, yet simple and easy to remember – perfect for anyone looking for a beautiful, uncomplicated project.
This shawl is the result of a collaboration with Zauberwiese, a hand dyer who lives in Flensburg but grew up in the Black Forest. Her unique color “Dunkelwald” fits this theme perfectly and gives the shawl a natural, harmonious touch.
