Anyone who has ever walked through the side streets of Berlin knows it. The Berliner Pflaster (Berlin cobblestones), the charm of an old city.
Long out of fashion – yet it has so much to tell.
My homage to the Berlin cobblestones is a triangular scarf that starts in a corner, knits up on the bias, but is still symmetrical.
The size is adjustable and the textured pattern makes the knitting process interesting and looks good from both sides.
The used yarn is “Einmalig. Einfarbig. Einfädig – Die Berliner Semi-Solid-Edition von Chestnut Cabin – Wolle aus U(e)trecht für Herrn U” in the brandnew color “Ick bin keen Mauerblümchen”.
